Video Swing Analysis
Cutting edge video swing analysis equipment allows TOURAcademy teaching pros the ability to analyze the student’s swing from varying angles and then compare the swing mechanics simultaneously on a split screen with that of a professional golfer. This allows the teaching pro to diagnosis the swing quickly and efficiently and allows the student to watch his or her swing and see why and how the prescribed swing adjustments should be made.
Flightscope Technology
Flightscope Technology is considered to be state-of-the-art equipment which is designed to be multi-functional in terms of its extensive capabilities. This technology allows the teaching pro to measure variables related to the student’s golf club such as club head speed, club vertical/horizontal attack angle, and club face angle. Additionally, Flightscope can be used to measure variables related to trajectory of ball flight including real time tracking, ball speed, sidespin, backspin, and both vertical and horizontal launch angles.
The Tomi Putting System
The Tomi Putting System allows TOURAcademy teaching pros with the ability to capture and analyze the student’s putting strokes. The system will instantly tell instructors where the student’s weaknesses are from the use of a camera, a clip-on sensor, and proprietary software which allows for correction and improvement.

Head Instructor Chris Holden
Chris Holden is the Head Instructor at the PGA TOUR Golf Academy, World Golf Village. He has been enjoying the great game of golf for 25 years. After graduating with a business degree in golf management, Holden joined the TOURAcademy as an Apprentice in 2003. Since then, Holden has taught numerous clinics, golf schools, TOURAcademy on the Road traveling schools, private lessons, and junior camps. Holden also was the Head Golf School Instructor for the TOURAcademy at TPC Sawgrass, Home of THE PLAYERS. His goal with students is to provide a fun and relaxed environment, allowing for a complete understanding of their personal swing tendencies and plans for improvement.
