Our Instruction Staff
Each TOURAcademy Instructor is a carefully selected career-teaching professional certified to the exacting standards of the TOURAcademy brand. Certification requires a commitment to the “Standards of Excellence” and a demonstrated level of expertise in instruction, fitness, and club fitting.
- Anne Cain, Master Instructor
Anne Cain began playing competitive golf at 13, and by age 15 was ranked among the top 3 female juniors in the country. An All-American at the University of Georgia, Anne captured several individual titles her senior year, including the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championship. She ranked #11 nationally and #1 in the Eastern United States. In addition, Anne qualified for the 1989 U.S. Women’s Open as an amateur at age 21.
Cain played professionally from 1991-’96 and captured two professional titles before setting her sights on a teaching career. After joining the LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Division in 1995, Anne began a mission to become a world-class instructor. She has personally studied with many of the games’ leading experts and has guided over a dozen Tour players and collegiate competitors, including the NCAA Female Player of the Year and an LPGA major champion.
Anne is recognized by GOLF Magazine as one of the Top 100 Teachers in America and is ranked by her peers in the Golf Digest list of Best Teachers in Your State (Florida). In addition, she was the first LPGA instructor to become an authorized instructor of The Golfing Machine.
- Jason Fenstermaker, Sr. Certified Instructor & Club Fitting Manager
Jason Fenstermaker is PGA member. He graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/ Professional Golf Management Program.
Jason is the Operations Managers for the PGA Tour Academy at the World Golf Village. Along with teaching, Jason is the full time club fitter at this location and also oversees club fitting at several other properties. His personal teaching style focuses on all aspects of the golf swing, helping each student reach his or her goals. He enjoys working with all ages and skill levels.
- Jarut Padung, Senior Certified Instructor
Jarut Padung is a Senior Certified Instructor at the PGA TOUR Golf Academy World Golf Village and PGA Class A-6 Professional North Florida Chapter Member. A seasoned teacher of the game, he has taught more than 200 days of golf schools. With every student he works with, Jarut strives to implement the building block approach in an effective, yet engaging style.
Jarut’s teaching expertise stems from his time spent at (DLGA) IMG Academies, the Don Law Golf Academy, Hank Haney Ranch at Vista Ridge and most recently, TOURAcademy TPC Sawgrass.
He is certified to teach all instructional programs, and is proficient in utilizing the academies’ video and launch monitor technology while implementing his knowledge regarding biomechanics. He is a certified Flight Scope professional, TPI Level 1 Certified Professional, and Hank Haney Level 1 Certified Professional, SAMS Putt lab certified instructor, US Kids Certified instructor, Dr. Kwon’s Biomechanics Cerfification, and Aimpoint (Green reading) Certified instructor.
Jarut enjoys teaching students of the game of all skill levels and ages including juniors, adults, ladies and seniors. He has a special passion for instructing juniors and has taught over 2,000 kids – with many achieving success at major tournaments including the US Kids World Championship and the American Junior Golf Association.
He has a bachelors degree in Corporate Finance with a specialization in Professional Golf Management from Coastal Carolina University. He is fluent in Thai and English.
Jarut has learned directly from and have great respect for many well-known instructors such as; David Leadbetter, Hank Haney & Steve Johnson, Mike Bender, David Orr , Dave Peltz, Mark Sweeny, Andy Plumber and Mike Bennet.
- Dave Myers, Senior Certified Instructor
Dave Myers joined the PGA TOUR Golf Academy in 2011. He has been focused on working primarily with the junior golfers. Dave created and is responsible for heading the Bolles School Advantage Golf Program as well as being the lead instructor for the PGA TOUR Golf Academy After School Junior Program.
Before arriving at the PGA TOUR Golf Academy, Dave was the head golf instructor at the University of Central Florida, where he taught beginning, intermediate and advance golf classes to University students as part of a two credit curriculum.
In May of 2008, Dave attended the Golf Academy of the South and was awarded the Conrad Reihling Award for the graduating student who shows the hardest work ethic.
