Winding their way through the brilliant landscapes of Northern Florida, TPC Sawgrass boasts two imaginatively designed PGA TOUR championship golf courses created by the legendary master architect, Pete Dye. THE PLAYERS Stadium Course and Dye’s Valley Course are both beautiful, challenging, immaculately manicured, and offer two perfectly balanced game experiences like no other.
THE PLAYERS Stadium Course
Named one of the Top 50 Golf Courses in the World by GOLF Magazine, THE PLAYERS Stadium Course is revered as the home of one of professional golf’s most prestigious competitions—THE PLAYERS Championship. Opened in 1980, the course was built to challenge the pros like no other golf course had done before, and become the first true “Stadium Course” to provide an unprecedented experience for spectators. With its contoured fairways, confounding angles, Pete Dye’s masterpiece left players wide-eyed with wonder…and over 30 years later, it still does.
Face the same challenges that have tested the skill and resolve of the game’s greatest players—including the formidable par-3 17th “Island Green”—one of the world’s most photographed holes, and arguably the signature hole for the entire sport of golf.
Dye’s Valley Course
Filled with the kind of tantalizing twists and tricky shots that Pete Dye is famous for, Dye’s Valley Course has hosted a variety of high-profile contests over the years, including the Senior PLAYER Championship, the Cadillac NFL Golf Classic and the United Van Lines Aces Championship. Although slightly more forgiving than The Stadium Course, Dye’s Valley Course offers a whole new set of challenges—including abundant hills and valleys, large sweeping greens and water features on every hole—with a design balance to rival that of its sister course.
